Job Summary
Conduct patient care across multiple clinical units in the Inpatient Float Pool, assisting the Registered Nurse with ongoing assessments, care plans, and medication administration including oral, enteral, PR, and topical routes. Document nursing actions, patient responses, and significant behavioral or physiological changes accurately while ensuring safety during patient transport and emergency responses. Maintain IV access devices following competency training and contribute to patient and family teaching activities. Requires active Wisconsin LPN licensure, CPR certification, and completion of the hospital telemetry course within three months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited NLN LPN school of nursing
- Active Wisconsin LPN licensure
- CPR certified or certification within 3 months of hire
- Completion of Beloit Health System telemetry course/test within 3 months of hire
- Ability to work independently and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
