Licensed Practical Nurse Float

Assist providers with patient office visits, including rooming patients, interviewing, recording vital signs, and performing point-of-care testing such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring. Administer medications under physician orders while checking for allergies and reconciling drug regimens. Manage the clinical inbox, answer patient calls to assess urgency, obtain prior authorizations, and schedule appointments or follow up on missed visits. Provide patient education on immunizations, review lab results, and initiate referrals to community agencies for resources. Maintain accurate documentation, track referrals, and contribute to supply organization and infection control protocols. Work Monday through Friday during dayshift hours.
