Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to patients and families via direct and/or telephone contact, coordinates with the care team to ensure coordinated care, assists physicians with clinical procedures, and participates in patient teaching. Requires full range of motion, ability to lift up to 100 pounds as needed, and ability to work in a medical office environment with exposure to bodily fluids. Must have NYS LPN license/registration and at least one year of preferred experience; CPR/BLS certification preferred. Responsible for directing clerical/medical assistants and delivering patient-centered care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- New York State (NYS) license with current NYS registration, in good standing.
- Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references.
