Job Summary
Provide clinical care to residents according to nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living protocols. Assess, observe, and evaluate resident conditions while documenting findings in the electronic medical record and notifying providers as needed. Administer medications timely and accurately, update care plans to reflect changing needs, and supervise care associates. Lead relationships with residents and families to support physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs. Participate in clinical indicator reviews for falls, wounds, and nutrition, and respond to inquiries from residents or families professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- CPR certification required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
- A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate
