Job Summary
Provide clinical care to residents according to nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living protocols. Assess, observe, and evaluate resident conditions, document findings in electronic medical records, and notify providers or RNs when necessary. Update care plans to reflect changes in resident needs, administer medications accurately, and supervise care associates. Lead care associates, participate in clinical indicator reviews regarding falls, wounds, and nutrition, and respond to families or responsible parties professionally. Maintain relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach focused on physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- CPR certification required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
- A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate
