Job Summary
Provide clinical care to residents according to nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living protocols. Assess, observe, and evaluate resident conditions, document findings in electronic medical records, and notify providers or RNs when necessary. Update care plans to reflect changes in resident needs. Administer medications timely and accurately. Supervise and lead care associates. Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and clinical indicator reviews such as falls and wounds. Respond to residents, families, and responsible parties in a timely and professional manner. Complete other duties as assigned by the RN clinical leader.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- CPR certification required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
- A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate
