Job Summary
Provide clinical care to residents according to nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living protocols. Assess, observe, and evaluate resident clinical conditions, documenting findings in the electronic medical record and notifying providers or RNs when necessary. Administer medications timely and accurately, update or modify care plans to reflect changing needs, and supervise care associates. Participate in meetings regarding resident outcomes and clinical indicator reviews such as falls and nutrition, while responding to residents, families, and responsible parties in a timely manner. Lead care associates and assist the RN clinical leader with other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
