Licensed Practical Nurse/Endoscopy Tech, Endoscopy, Full-Time, Days

Monitor and document patient status including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab values under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Provide patient care based on individualized plans of care, administer medications per policy, and collect data using specialized equipment such as glucometers and pulse oximetry. Instruct patients and families on room and unit routines while maintaining accurate, confidential medical records. Report observations, patient responses, and changes in status to appropriate staff. This full-time day shift role is located at Blount Memorial Hospital in the Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Lab.
