Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under RN supervision for assigned patients in the Emergency Department. Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Manage duties across a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center serving as the regional Burn Center for Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Full-time days, mids, or nights shift availability. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 available. Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 and relocation assistance up to $3,000 for full-time hires. Current LPN license and hospital-based experience required; Basic Life Support certification needed within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Hospital-based experience
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant amount of bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Full-Time employment availability
- Days/Mids/Nights shift availability
