Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse in Emergency Department providing nursing care under supervision, performing general physical assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and assisting in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel. Per shift leadership responsibilities may be assumed as needed. Department handles cardiac, stroke and behavioral health cases with a rapid care area for minor illnesses; the unit emphasizes organization, leadership, and effective clinical interventions. Shift is full-time, night hours from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a sign-on bonus potential up to $5,000. Requires an Associate’s degree-equivalent education and a current Practical Nursing license; experience under 1 year is noted.
