Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (Dialysis) provides professional nursing care under physician direction, administers medications with documented effects, conducts/prescribes thorough patient assessments during dialysis, rotates as a telephone triage nurse, and performs back-office duties in accordance with practice policies; requires NY LPN license and graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, with dialysis experience preferred; duties are essential functions under ADA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or of a Nursing Vocational or Nursing Technical school
- Current License to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State
- specialized certifications as needed
- Previous Dialysis experience highly preferred
