Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse in an outpatient dialysis setting providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease. Float to multiple facilities during and after training with a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, leveraging a broad range of nursing skills in a fast-paced environment. Training may occur in a facility or training clinic away from the home clinic; the role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to CMS guidelines, and readiness to operate within a dialysis care team. Must maintain current LPN/LVN license, CPR, and IV certification as required by state regulations; BONENT/CHT certification preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- IV certification required if required by state regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
- BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation
