Job Summary
Deliver life-saving care to patients with chronic kidney disease in an intimate outpatient setting, building meaningful long-term relationships with patients and their families. Work with your head, heart, and hands in a fast-paced environment to manage unique treatment plans for patients with multiple co-morbidities. You will float to various facilities during and after your training, leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge. This role requires early morning starts at 4:45 AM, extended 12-to-14-hour shifts, and a Saturday rotation. No dialysis experience is required; training may take place in a facility or training clinic other than your assigned home clinic. Required Qualifications
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- IV certification (if required by state regulations)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
- Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire
- Flexible schedule and ability to work early mornings, long shifts, Saturdays, and holidays
- Ability to work early morning starts (4:45 AM)
- Ability to work extended 12-to-14-hour shifts
- Ability to work Saturday rotation
- Ability to work holidays
- Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- BONENT or CHT certification (preferred or as required by state regulation)
