Job Summary
Deliver compassionate, empathetic care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an intimate outpatient dialysis setting. Build meaningful long-term relationships with patients and their families while managing unique treatment plans for those with multiple co-morbidities. Work with your head, heart, and hands in a fast-paced environment, leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge. You will float to various facilities during and after training, requiring flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role offers a starting wage of $26.00 - $38.00 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- IV certification if required by state regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
- Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
- Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire
- Flexible schedule and ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-mobidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge
- Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives
- Pre-employment substance abuse testing and background verification checks
