Licensed Practical Nurse

Obtain vital signs, administer medications, and collect specimens for patients under RN direction. Observe changes in patient conditions, report urgent needs to providers, and intervene in emergency situations. Document treatments, transcribe orders, and ensure medical records are complete prior to physician visits. Maintain a clean, safe environment by managing supplies, checking equipment, and disposing of contaminated sharps properly. Provide patient education for diagnostic tests and home health care needs. This role requires Louisiana LPN licensure, one year of experience, and proficiency with electronic health records. Full-time employment offers 11 paid holidays, PTO, and loan repayment options.
