Job Summary
The LPN provides hands-on care to youth in a secure juvenile detention/treatment setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs, administering medications and monitoring for side effects, observing and reporting changes in condition, collaborating with the healthcare team to assess needs and adjust care plans, and supporting youth through recovery and healing within a small clinic team. This role requires familiarity with DHHS licensing standards and delivers care in a developmentally informed, treatment-focused program for adolescents in a secure facility.
Required Qualifications
- A postsecondary certificate from a vocational school or an associate's Degree in nursing is required.
- Three years of experience in the nursing field
