Licensed Practical Nurse

Administer and record vaccines, document verbal conversations and information into patient records accurately, and maintain timely patient flow. Obtain specimens from patients as directed, perform clinical office procedures such as PFTs, EKGs, and medication administration, and process prescriptions. Accurately enter orders into the lab system and discuss test results with patients per provider instructions. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion while adhering to infection control and patient confidentiality policies. Requires a valid NYS LPN license, previous LPN experience or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech, strong EMR skills, and knowledge of basic nursing principles. Schedule includes 30 hours weekly with Monday-Friday 4:30pm-12:00am shifts and every other weekend rotation of 10:00am-8:00pm.
