Job Summary
Administer and record vaccines, document patient conversations and information into records, and maintain timely patient flow. Prepare patients for visits, obtain specimens, and perform clinical office procedures including PFTs, EKGs, and medication administration. Process prescriptions, enter orders into the lab system, and discuss test results with patients per provider instructions. Work a 40-hour week from 8:00am to 4:30pm with a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus available. Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to environmental safety
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques
