Job Summary
Administer and record vaccines, document verbal conversations and patient information accurately into records, and maintain timely patient flow. Obtain specimens, perform clinical office procedures such as PFTs and medication administration, and process patient prescriptions. Accurately enter orders into the lab system and discuss test results with patients per provider instructions. Full-time 40-hour schedule includes Mon/Wed/Fri 8:45am-5pm and weekends 10am-7:30pm. Eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $26.00 to $33.00.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to environmental safety
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques
