Job Summary
Administer vaccines, obtain patient specimens, and perform clinical office procedures such as EKGs and nebulizer treatments as directed by the provider. Document verbal conversations and information into patient records accurately, maintain timely patient flow, and process prescriptions. Enter orders into the lab system and discuss test results with patients per provider instructions. This Full Time role includes a 40-hour week with specific Monday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts plus weekend coverage. Candidates earn between $26.00 and $33.00 per hour and are eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus. Valid NYS LPN license and EMR experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to environmental safety
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques
Desired Qualifications
