Job Summary
Administer vaccines, obtain specimens, and perform clinical office procedures including PFTs, EKGs, and medication administration as directed by the provider. Document verbal conversations and patient information accurately into the EMR while maintaining timely patient flow. Process prescriptions and discuss test results per provider instructions. This full-time, 40-hour role (8:00am–4:30pm) offers a competitive hourly range of $26.00–$33.00 plus up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus. Eligible candidates must hold a valid NYS LPN license with experience in a medical practice or as a Medical Assistant, alongside strong EMR skills and knowledge of infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to environmental safety
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques
