Job Summary
Administer and record vaccines, document patient conversations and information into records, and maintain timely patient flow. Prepare patients for visits, obtain specimens, and perform clinical office procedures such as PFTs, EKGs, and medication administration. Accurately enter orders into the lab system, process prescriptions, and discuss test results per provider instructions. This role requires a valid NYS LPN license, prior experience as an LPN, Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Tech, strong EMR skills, and knowledge of infection control and confidentiality protocols. The position offers a 40-hour week from 8:00am to 4:30pm with hourly pay ranging from $26.00 to $33.00 and eligibility for a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to environmental safety
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques
