Job Summary
Administer and record vaccines, document patient conversations and information into records accurately, and maintain timely patient flow. Obtain specimens, perform clinical office procedures such as PFTs and medication administration, process prescriptions, and discuss test results per provider instructions. Complete accurate and timely order entry into the lab system. This Full Time LPN role includes a 40-hour week with specific Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and weekend hours, offering up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus. Candidates must hold a valid NYS LPN license and possess strong EMR skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to environmental safety
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality
- Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques
