Job Summary
Administer and record vaccines, document verbal conversations and patient information accurately into records, and maintain timely patient flow. Obtain specimens, perform clinical office procedures such as PFTs and EKGs, process prescriptions, and discuss test results per provider instructions. Work full-time 40 hours, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:45am-5:00pm, plus weekends 10:00am-7:30pm. Eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus. Requires a valid NYS LPN license, EMR experience, and knowledge of infection control protocols. Join Community Care Physicians' urgent care team in Latham.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to environmental safety
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques
