Job Summary
Administer vaccines, document patient conversations and lab orders, and perform clinical procedures including PFTs, EKGs, and medication administration. Obtain specimens, process prescriptions, and discuss test results per provider instructions while maintaining accurate, timely patient records and flow. Work full-time, 30 hours weekly, with Monday-Friday shifts from 4:30pm to 12:00am and rotating weekend hours from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus. Requires a valid NYS LPN license, EMR experience, and knowledge of infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to environmental safety
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques
