Job Summary
Monitor health conditions of individuals served and administer medications while overseeing staff who provide these services. Provide prescribed medical treatment by physician's orders and conduct assessments to implement health care services within each Individual Service Plan. Train staff members on universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration, while also educating individuals on self-medication, prescribed treatments, and STD prevention. Serve as a liaison and advocate with medical and professional service providers. Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing or LPN program graduation, one year of experience with the population served, and current state LPN license. Full-time position offers $20.40 hourly pay with a $3000 welcome bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field, or a graduate of an accredited LPN program
- One year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity
- Current state LPN or LVN License
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
- Additional certifications as required by state licensing regulations such as CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families
