Job Summary
Contribute to patient assessment and ensure well-being by administering medications, observing for adverse reactions, and performing laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educate patients and families on disease treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, and follow-up care. Document provider encounters, list diagnoses and symptoms, and transcribe orders including laboratory tests, radiology, and medications. Transcribe consultations with family or private physicians and continuously check data availability to ensure providers can make treatment decisions. Maintain constant alertness and safe manner while performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing

- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- State of Work Location: Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Nurse Licensure Issued by Compact State
- Constant use of speech to share information through oral communication
- Constant standing and walking
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
- Frequent sitting, reaching and keyboard use/data entry
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
- Frequent use of smell to detect/recognize odors
- Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
- Occasional lifting/moving of patients
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
- Occasional driving
