Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Outpatient Clinic in Chesapeake, VA for a government contract. Provide direct patient care in an outpatient military clinic, including patient intake, triage, vital signs, administration of medications, immunizations, and IV therapies. Assist providers with exams, procedures, and diagnostic testing; monitor patient conditions; educate patients and families on care plans; support clinic workflow and patient flow. Schedule includes varied shifts (days, weekends, holidays) with 7:00 AM–7:00 PM clinic hours, fully onsite; BLS required; 1 year outpatient/ambulatory/acute care experience preferred; licensure required; EMR experience with AHLTA/CHCS; teamwork in a military healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a State Board-approved LPN/LVN program or equivalent military training
- Current, active, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license (any U.S. state or territory)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in outpatient, ambulatory, or acute care within the last 2 years
Additional Requirements
- US Citizenship strongly preferred per government contract
