Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care as ordered by physicians, including medication administration, treatments, and activities of daily living. Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and evaluate physical and psychosocial status while maintaining accurate medical records. Direct Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure assignments are complete and coordinate new admissions, transfers, and discharges. Transcribe physician orders, update care plans, complete incident reports, and maintain a safe, clean work environment with proper equipment storage. Comply with all facility policies and resident rights standards.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

- Transcription of physicians orders
- Updating of the plan of care
- Completion of incident/accident reports
- Understanding and compliance with rules regarding resident rights
- Maintenance of safe and clean work area
- Proper storage of equipment and supplies
