Job Summary
Provide patient care services as a Licensed Practical Nurse under Provider direction. Prepare patients for examination, record vitals/history, and administer treatments as directed. Initiate and maintain IV lines, administer fluids and medications per orders. Collaborate with providers and staff for examinations and treatments, including injections, suture removal, and wound dressings. Authorize medication refills per provider orders and convey prescription information to pharmacies. Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and support wound management. Collect blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens, log results, and perform lab call-backs. Prepare exam/treatment rooms, sterilize and maintain supplies/equipment. Document care and procedures in EMR, schedule tests and follow-ups, and educate patients and families on treatment and medications. Coordinate cross-functional actions to ensure seamless patient care. Requires High school diploma or equivalent, active LPN license, and BLS certification; 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
