Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an Alberta community, reporting to the Wellness Manager. Provide nursing care per established policy and the resident plan of care, supervise PSW/unregulated staff, oversee admissions/readmissions, and communicate with residents' families. Demonstrate sound nursing practice, foster a welcoming environment, and support ongoing resident assessments and status changes. Requires good standing with the provincial nursing college and completion of required checks; availability for a range of shifts and orientations. The role emphasizes geriatrics/senior health and collaboration within the Shasta/Sienna care community, with a commitment to dignity and respect for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Alberta
- In good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta
- Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate province
- Availability for Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends
- Must be available for mandatory orientation on June 22nd and 23rd, 8am-4pm
