Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON. Provides nursing care to residents/patients per their plan of care, coordinates and evaluates care, maintains safety, and supervises nursing assistants. Requires LPN license in state, CPR certification, ability to manage supplies and equipment, and effective communication in English; duties include administering care, following center policies, and contributing to a positive, home-like environment at North Shore Health’s facilities in Shawano, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
