Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at a Monroe center within a multi-site post-acute provider network. The LPN/LVN performs nursing care under the supervision of RN Unit Manager or DON, coordinates and evaluates the resident’s plan of care, ensures safety, supervises nursing assistants, adheres to the State Nurse Practice Act, and supports a home-friendly environment with opportunities for career growth. Required items include WI licensure as an LPN, current CPR, dosage calculation ability, English literacy, and basic computer skills. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
