Job Summary
Perform nursing care under RN supervision by coordinating, implementing, and evaluating resident plans of care while maintaining safety and supervising nursing assistants. Manage the care environment, adhere to state practice acts and center policies, and use necessary equipment such as feeding pumps and medication carts. Calculate drug dosages and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Maintain CPR certification and meet all health requirements. Work the 3rd shift in a home-friendly setting with a focus on work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge
- Ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
