Licensed Practical Nurse

The LPN is responsible for providing high-quality direct care to residents under the supervision of the RN, ensuring adherence to the BON standards and the Residents’ Bill of Rights. Key responsibilities include conducting resident assessments, developing and modifying the Plan of Care, providing ongoing support, integrating safety policies, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supervising unlicensed nursing staff. Essential skills include leadership, resilience, interpersonal communication, and the ability to actively listen and engage with residents and their families.
