Job Summary
Provide direct primary nursing care to residents and supervise certified nursing assistants. Administer medications, perform wound care, and conduct physical assessments while adhering to infection control protocols. Manage resident care assignments, update plans of care, and maintain accurate documentation and narcotic records. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, and families to ensure safe resident outcomes. Maintain the facility's Service Excellence Initiative and address service concerns. Requires current Virginia LPN license, two years of experience, and CPR certification. Full-time role with physical demands including lifting 25 pounds and prolonged standing.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
- Must be able to move 150 pounds with assistance
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a LPN, preferred
