Job Summary
LPN provides direct primary nursing care to residents and supervises certified nursing assistants during night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). Responsibilities include supervising licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel, developing CNA resident care assignments, administering medications using the five rights, documenting nursing care, participating in rounds and committees, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare staff, updating plans of care, and ensuring adherence to infection control practices. Requires Virginia LPN license, CPR certification, and strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Virginia in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- Two years of experience as an LPN, preferred
- Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification
