Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing high-quality direct care to residents under the supervision of an RN, participating in the development and modification of resident Plans of Care, and implementing delegated interventions. Essential functions include conducting assessments, ensuring nursing care meets the Residents’ Bill of Rights, monitoring resident health, and maintaining compliance with safety and documentation standards. The LPN must demonstrate strong leadership, resilience, and interpersonal skills while effectively communicating with residents and their families. Required qualifications include completion of a nursing education program, a current state LPN license, and CPR certification.
