Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to patients and significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care. Assists physicians with clinical procedures and participates in patient teaching. Requires NYS license/registration in good standing and graduation from an accredited LPN program. Typical shift is M-F 8AM–5PM with pay between $34 and $40 per hour. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of LPN experience and CPR/BLS certification. The role involves direct patient care, movement and lifting of patients, and working in a medical office environment. Provides direction to clerical/medical assistants and other non-licensed personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- New York State license with current NYS registration, in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Minimum of one year experience as LPN (preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references
