Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff, within the LPN scope of practice, addressing physical and behavioral health needs. Requires a valid LPN license or ability to obtain one, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check). The role is Full Time with shift from 2PM to 10PM at Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, IL.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
