Licensed Practical Nurse

Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting, assisting health care providers with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures. Obtain patient health history, administer vital signs and TB skin tests, and conduct lab tests while ensuring results reach the correct physician or registered nurse. Coordinate patient transfers to medical facilities, administer medications, implement practitioner orders, and document all patient contacts using the POMR format. Review patient charts to report observed symptoms, reactions, and changes in conditions. This role includes rotating weekends and offers competitive pay, 401K, and nurse student loan repayment.
