Job Summary
Provide patient-centered, age-appropriate care on the Outpatient Unit via collaboration with RNs and MDs, utilizing clinical skills and educated judgment to ensure optimal outcomes. Assess and interpret age-specific data while demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles for patients from birth to early adulthood. Maintain a Monday-Friday 0830-1700 schedule with holiday requirements and minimal weekend coverage. Requires a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing LPN license (or NLC state license) and a minimum of two years nursing experience, with pediatric or oncology background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Graduate of a school of nursing
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- Current Tennessee State Board of Nursing LPN license if primary residence is Tennessee
- Current State Board of Nursing LPN license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
