Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care and treatment to clients per physician orders and plan of care, administering and monitoring medications as prescribed. Conduct nursing assessment visits and document all actions, informing physicians and families accordingly. Direct caregiver efforts within the client's plan of care and perform supervisory visits to review care plans and caregiver competency. Implement nursing support for individuals in home settings while ensuring compliance with state regulations and medical reports. Participate in staff meetings and address individual health needs in collaboration with the nursing supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
- Current and unrestricted license in the state of the operation
- CPR professional certification
- Capable of working independently with highly confidential information
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of nursing experience preferred
