Job Summary
Provide direct patient care within scope of LPN practice, assist with orthopedic clinic procedures and patient flow, and follow infection control and aseptic techniques. Respond to emergency situations using established protocols, document patient care accurately, and maintain medical records using MHS Genesis, Essentris, and CIS systems. Communicate effectively with providers and healthcare teams, support and train junior staff, and participate in peer reviews and performance improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with DoD and MTF policies, Joint Commission standards, and patient confidentiality requirements. Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active, unrestricted LPN license and at least one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program(ACEN, NLNAC, CCNE, or equivalent military program)
- Current, active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license
- Valid in any U.S. state or territory
- At least 1 year of LPN experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must meet all health and immunization requirements
- Ability to complete DoD/MTF training and orientation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in: Hospital, outpatient, or acute care setting (preferred)
- Orthopedic experience: 6 months – 1 year preferred
