Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at AgeCare Mount Royal in Calgary, AB Part-time position. Provides goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care, administers medications and treatments, conducts resident assessments and care planning, documents care updates, participates in care conferences, coordinates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, educates residents and families, supports transitions (move-ins, discharges, transfers), delegates tasks to unregulated care providers, and ensures infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives are in place.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the applicable province/state
- Experience in senior care or long-term care (preferred)
- Completion of a current Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and Microsoft Office
