Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse needed to provide compassionate nursing care within a behavioral health/ addiction treatment setting. Responsibilities include addressing medical and psychiatric conditions, educating patients and families, coordinating with the treatment team, resolving issues from prior shifts (labs, admissions/discharges), infection control compliance, medication storage/returns, inventory and supply management, coordinating admissions workflow, transferring levels of care, administrative tasks (scanning, scheduling support), attending regular department meetings, and maintaining professional communication and teamwork. Schedule features 12-hour shifts with requests for all shifts; licensure active and in good standing in the applicable state; minimum HS diploma or equivalent with PN certification required; 2 years LPN experience preferred; company maintains a drug-free workplace and compliance with nondiscrimination laws.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Practical Nursing or equivalent as per state law
- Licensed to practice in the State of licensure, active and in good standing required
- Two years' as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred
