Job Summary
Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital's policies and procedures. Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in the Acute Medicine Unit. Work collaboratively within the nursing team to improve patient function and protect health and safety. Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Georgia and hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Work rotating shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM with weekend rotation on a rotating basis. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- 7A-730P
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience as an LPN
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
