Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices; coordinates with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care; assists physician with clinical procedures and participates in patient teaching. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing and hold NYS license/registration in good standing. Preferred: Hem/Onc experience or at least two years in clinical practice or hospital experience; CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- New York State license with current NYS registration, in good standing
- Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references
