Licensed Practical Nurse 3/11 Every other weekend

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) oversees, provides, and coordinates nursing care for residents in the facility, administers medications, monitors vital signs, documents changes, and collaborates with the health care team to plan and modify care. Responsibilities include observing residents, reporting condition changes, handling basic treatments (e.g., wound care, catheterization), ensuring resident safety through adherence to protocols, and maintaining open communication with supervisors and coworkers. Requires Florida LPN license in good standing and CPR certification within 90 days after hire; may involve directing CNAs/PCAs/RAs on shift. Strong knowledge of medical principles, regulations, documentation, and professional communication skills are essential.
