Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform tasks pertinent to patient care across all ages, maintain inventory of medical supplies, assist with nursing procedures as directed, support quality assurance, participate in educational processes, and assist with patient flow. The position requires attention to detail, respect for patient confidentiality, and effective communication skills. Candidates should possess experience or knowledge of medical office systems and demonstrate clinical competence.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses
- Licensed by the Virginia State Board of Nursing or from a compact state*
- At least 2 years of general patient care experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification, preferred
- Experience in telephone triage, preferred
- Experience in emergency room and community nursing preferred
